It been a week now since Davao is having a cold weather and it's been raining for days and nights. Last Friday, which was the end of our College Week, I went to school by the afternoon since I woke up really really late that I forgot I still have make-up classes but luckily, I'm done with the report and since prof is only prioritizing those who haven't yet reported. So, this is why I have selected photo to blog and some of it are from a friend's camera. By afternoon, RSM was full-packed with students and outsiders who witnessed the Variety Show for a cause and everyone enjoyed it, I guess :-) It was an hour of performance then and after which, we can go out of school. Since we're starving, we decided to go to McDo and stuck there for like hours and so!

Take a Beat
Music is like everything! Today has been a great day somehow but still a lazy day. We were at the school and it's the second day of College Week. By 10am, World Tourism class has to be in one for 2 hours and do the reporting and wooh thank God it's done! After which, and by lunch, we stayed for at least the whole afternoon in Do Good Have Fun and waited for the time. Fun times with friends, sang a lot of songs, listen to music, and played instruments. Yup! Love it. It's a way of killing the boredom and so. For me, it was a fun and productive day! Enjoy the photos. Kisses!

Pursuit of Happiness
One thing I am so thankful for everyday is that I have funny, crazy, beautiful, wonderful and trusted friends. This has been a cray-cray Wednesday to me! Well, us. We don't have classes though since it's a College Week that's why all students are not in uniforms. And we still have to be in school and do sorts of stuffs. But 'twas forever late of me that I wasn't really in school but I was in Do Good Have Fun with my friends and do nothing but eat. I know! This day is somewhat unforgettable, I was never been so thrilled in my entire life before. Chills! Enjoy the photos.

Thirsty Thoughts
I've never love Tuesdays! It happens that I am so lazy to get up from the bed every morning and thinking of being in school for almost 11 hours. Yep, even though it's every Tuesdays and Fridays, I still hate Tuesdays. It's so far from the weekend! Today, since the sky is mad and heavy rains in the morning approached Davao, I wasn't able to make it to our first subject so I decided to get in (late, as always) to our second course. And since it's a College Week, selected students has to handle a section/s and lesson/s. We've been wanting so bad to like do nothing for this day but fortunately, it has been a great day, well I hope for everyone! Here are some photos we've been tagging all through out the gloomy day! Kudos, enjoy! :-)

Appreciate Life
It has been a rainy Monday to laze up and hoping to go back to sleep but the reality has to take in that we (students) have to prepare for the first subject of the day. And I was late. Maybe this year isn't really for me to be early as possible but I am surely and heartily trying my best to wake up as early as 7 in the morning for class. Well today, I've decided to bring my camera since I had borrow a friends macro lens. TADA! Yay! My friends love the lens too. This is day is really a bed weather. Raining all through out the day 'til night but unfortunately, the news said that there will be another typhoon for this month. :"( I hope everyone's okay. Like very okay and dry! Well anyway, It's also a College Week so the students had to act like a teacher. If you're too familiar with that, though. I also decided to take my own 7-day Challenge of Photography and try my best to update and post something new everyday on my blog, which is here. So let me start it today, here are so photos I've compiled all through out the day. Kudos, enjoy! :-)

She Turns 18
Once in a life time, you turn 18. A celebration of life and happiness because you finally graduated to childhood and about to step to the real world of adultery. Well, it's still teen but already legal! Last night was so much fun. Lusil's birthday was last 13th of February but since it's a Wednesday, and they had their exams so the party was held last night at the Tulip Grand Plaza.
I've known Lusil for 5 years now! Throwback last 2009, she was my first friend in high school. In PWC. We were classmates since 1st-3rd year! Yes, one of my closest friends but we had to separate ways in college. Though we still have communications. I was part of her 18 Candles and the speech was so impromptu. Haha! She's like a sister to me and my kalog friend! Really thankful to be part of her life and her teenage years! And I am so happy to be reunited with my high school friends as well!
So here are some of the photos I and my friends took from her Debut last night.
(P.S. Some of the photos are blur, bear with it.)

Engagement Party
नमस्ते
A fact you don't know about me; I love India. Ever since I was in grade school, I fell in love with their country, culture, way of dressing and of course, their food. I love spices and India is known as the home of spices. This is really really an old event that happened last March 2012, in Grand Men Seng Hotel was Tajinder & Vanita's Engagement Party. Well, if you haven't notice ever, Shareen Balani (my super dooper sister-in-crime best friend) happens to be an Indian (well half-Indian). And since she knows that I have been a big fan of India, perhaps everything about India, she invited me to go with her to this event which I was really so excited and it's my first to ever to wear a Sari or Saree (it's their National Costume for girls). It's very very beautiful, detailed in every part and colorful! Their culture is amazing in different kinds of way. Yeah, I've been dreaming to go there, soon! मेरे फ़ोटो का आनंद लें (Enjoy my photos)Saturday, February 2, 2013
Cultural Festivity
After the 5 days of activities and festivities during the event, today, it has finally come to an end. This year's perhaps the grandest event ever held in Davao City. The title says it all; "Liwanag World Festival". I wasn't in school today since I have errands to do and that counts studying since Prelims' on its way! Sigh* Well anyway, before talking stressful matters, I have to say that the event really helped me --- well, I hope everyone who attended the festival. From educational talks, sessions and workshops to proudly Pinoy artworks, dances and photos! It was also an honored to witnessed again the performance by Bayanihan Dance Troupe and Madayaw Cultural Ensemble. Humble and very very informative speakers from different places in the country and the world! Nevertheless, it's so much honor to all Davaoeneos that these kind of celebration has been held in Davao City. I heard that next year will be in Iloilo and I think it'll be great too! Alright, so much of that, enjoy the photos I have taken since third day!

Festival of Lights
It's the first day of the month of February! Hola! How did you spend it? --- Today's also the 4th day of the Liwanag World Festival. It's really really fast and I assume that every person who participated in the event was satisfied! We witnessed a lot of performances earlier this morning until the afternoon. The Bayanihan Dance Troupe was there to perform 2 dances while the Madayaw Cultural Ensemble who showed us the Tausug Dance. They were all magnificent, dancing so elegantly! It was amazing. There were also talks, sessions and at the end of the program, participants went to their workshops. So this is up for today, I'm gonna show you some of the photos I took earlier today. The performances of the Bayanihan Dance Troupe and Madayaw Culural Ensemble.

Liwanag World Festival
Liwanag World Festival, a 5-day celebration on creativity and sustainability. People around the Globe come to Davao and maybe most of them already had experienced the festivity. It's held in our school, Philippine Women's College of Davao (RSM Events Center). The celebration started last Tuesday, 29th of January which really had a great impact to those people who went. There are talks, sessions, art exhibits, workshops and step by step on how to save mother earth courtesy of the most influential people in this world. Maria Ressa was also there! It's amazing and of course, proud because our school has been a big part of this event. This year's biggest event ever made in Davao City, I say!

27th Visual Arts Competition
Last year, I was been able to participate the 26th Visual Competition courtesy of DPC-PLDT. I am so running happy earlier seeing this poster on the school's bulletin board, same as last year and I remembered the time when there were two of us from PWC who joined last year's. Fortunately, the Fine Arts student has been included to the top 20 finalists and I wasn't but 'twas okay because I was happy for her! Well moving on, this is another chance and opportunity for me to show my photos again in the public. This time, I want to purchase something I had been capturing using my Canon and I am so happy because Canon is involved to this competition. I think this year's photo contest would be more interesting because of the Theme: More Fun in the Philippines. This is probably exciting because there are more than 7, 107 reasons why it's more fun to be here in the Philippines, don't you think? I am inviting all the photo enthusiasts out there to join and experience this contest! Visit there site and read the full mechanics here.

Good Time
Back-to-normal Saturdays is on! I am so happy knowing that after 3 months, this term is
out with Saturday classes and finally I have more time to spend going out doing some errands.
Instead of being in Cebu for Sinulog, unfortunately I was not able to book a flight earlier than
January of 2013th. I am so jelly seeing the photos since yesterday. People are posting their
first days of 3 days for Sinulog. And I am thinking..."Oh, I wish I'm there too." Well, Sinulog will
always be there no matter. I still have next year to attend though!
My day was well spent with my friends, Mimi and Kathleen. Buddies always! No, we are not going
in the same school but we always have time to go out whenever we have spare time. Like today,
went to Premier to have dinner there and stuff like that. I never ever had a boring day with them!
I mean, they made me crazy all the time! Hahaha and I am always having fun in million ways.
They never fail to make me smile, comfort me to whatever and even in the most nonsense things.
Love these two so much! They are like my sisters in different mother.

It's gonna be another step for us because after today,
Third Trimester will start tomorrow! Another 3-month

Mood for Blue
The hardest part for me is saying ciao to my friends and loved ones so as leaving a place I love visiting the most! I was away for a while to spend my holiday season with my
relatives back in Manila. But sad to say, I really have to go back to Davao and work on my clearance and enroll myself for the third trimester (which I already finished earlier this day). I just love spending my days, roaming around the city with friends which has so much big difference back here. To think that I had the worst comeback here in Davao! Did I ever tell you I had my worst fever/colds/cough eveeerrr?! Well unfortunately, I did and I was sick as hell and it lasted for 2 and a half days! But Thank God, it's almost gone now.
So, so, so! Here's up. While waiting for my departure, had a chance to sort of "shoot" in the Airport and thanks to my cousin for this though some were blur but still, I like it!
Some photos were not taken in the airport, I just wanna add it up here since I'm wearing a shade of blue too, right? Right!

Silhouettes & Sunset
SM Mall Of Asia is a tourist destination that has raised the standard of shopping, leisure and entertainment in the Philippines. This mall is acutally the second largest mall in the Philippines after SM North Edsa and perhaps the third largest mall around Asia. And wow! I am precisely being a Tour Guide on my blog. Everyday, there are thousands of people visiting this mall. It has actually numbers of stores inside the mall, restaurants and stuffs like that. I think this is the most visited mall around Philippines. It's so busy and people are so much in a hurry. Last Saturday (5th of January) we decided to watch the Sunset along the Seaside Blvd which is just across the mall. And by night, we watched the 5 minute fireworks display. Well, it's always on Saturdays though. So I was really hoping to capture the best of it and by the looks of it, it's quite impressive, don't you think? :) I love playing with the photos, really. Especially on Candid one. I've already featured about Candid, right? This time, it's about Silhouettes and well, the main subject; the magnificent Sunset.
I love how people are really amazed by the sunset. Well so
was I. I don't know how to explain it but from my entire
life and been capturing about this, this is quite different.
The sun looks so sweet and beautiful. It's wonderful!

K-Pop Convention
ANNYEONG HASEYO
안녕하세요
Did I spelled it right? It's a special edition of
Photographs Are Forever: The K-POP Edition! :)
I am so excited to blog this! Well, supposedly I should
have blog this yesterday but since I am so tired and
I just landed, decided not to. But here you go!
This is for my K-Pop Fanatics out there.
Last 29th of December 2012, the Annual Philippine K-Pop Convention was held inside the PICC Forums 1-3 (Philippine International Convention Center) located in the Cultural Center of the Philippines complex in Pasay. I, my cousin and our friends
was there to attend the 4th K-POP Convention. It's our second
time to attend these kinds of festivities.
Last year was at SM Megamall Atrium.
I must say, PICC was full-packed with so much of a screaming
and die-hard fans to their biases, group idols and so much more! There were a lot of merchandises sold inside and standees
of most of the K-Pop groups. And I mean, from head-to-toe merchandise. It's a bit pricey because most of their stuff are limited edition. So, let's get this on started!
But let me ask you first, Who was there? :)
I know, I'm not a K-POP Fanatic but likewise, I don't
hate them. I'm just confuse about their songs. But that's all.
It was a combination of heat and raindrops as we go along,
waiting and on line up! There were a lot... I mean
A LOT of people (sa labas pa lang)
Photo above was just one of the halves from the people who
were already inside, very early I say!
Before proceeding to the main entrance for the main event, you
have to sign up your name and donate a fee for the Gawad Kalinga.
It's actually a charitable event and happy to say that it was
very very very successful!
Now this has been what I was talking about earlier.
The booths! Perhaps there were more than 25 booths
lined up inside the Forums 1-3. I have to collage it
because it's too many!
It's crazy right? PINS, PINS and MORE PINS! This was actually
half of the pins sold. I also bought pins for my friends :)
I have a crush on him. He's from CN Blue. I know! He's cute :)
Jang Keun Suk and I... on standee!
Merchandise inside the booth! It's massive.
Talking about fashion shoes here! I am in love with those of them! I wanna buy a pair but I think it's too hassle.
Maybe next time. More pairs I guess.
I just wish these are all mine!
The K-Pop Convention experience was never dull because of them!
I'm gonna see you next December pretty lads!
And yes, they looked so serious and I am the only one smiling.
Hahaha!
Faces with Carl! Cute :)
Faces with this lad right here, Elton. So as cute!
I am so in love with the color orange right now.
It's so vibrant and I just love the lace on top,
well so as my pretty headband on pink!
Pretty lads beside me ;)
This paper served as my ticket. Unfortunately, I didn't complete
to collect all the stamps since people are going loco to have it.
But congratulations to all the winners! :)
I pretty much enjoyed every single second inside
the forums! Another experience for us and looking
forward to this years another convention. Though
my feet really hurts because of the whole day
"lakaran-with-siksikan" sesh. It was all worth it
and to think that a lot of people enjoyed it too!
See you again people to the 2013 K-Pop Convention.
